Subtle Smile Changes

Minor cosmetic dental procedures such as teeth whitening or repairing small chips or flaws with cosmetic bonding can often make a big difference.

  • Gaps between teeth
  • Aged crown and bridge work with gray metal edges

Your Birmingham Family Dentist

We enjoy having families in our practice and want to exceed your expectations in creating a comfortable, pleasant dental experience for you and your loved ones.

Our primary emphasis is on prevention. We always allow enough time at each appointment thoroughly evaluate your dental needs and make recommendations to protect your oral health.

Your Child's Dental Care

Dr. Klimcak and our team members are especially aware of the importance of creating positive dental experiences for your child; we want them to enjoy seeing the dentist for a lifetime!

Beginning with their very first visit, we will gently introduce your child to the dental environment and pace their treatment based on their individual comfort level.

Baby teeth are as important as adult teeth…

Primary teeth help children chew and speak. They also hold space in the jaws for permanent teeth that are growing under the gums.

As Your Child Grows Up

At periodic intervals during your child's growth we will recommend a “panoramic” digital xray which gives us an image of the teeth and jaw bone structures. This xray, combined with an oral examination, helps us monitor development of permanent teeth and look for orthodontic conditions which may require correction.

Taking Care of those Precious Smiles

Dr. Klimcak believes in treating her patients in the same way she would care for her own family members. She appreciates and invites parents' questions about dentistry, and always wants to fully addresses any concerns to assist you in making an informed decision about your family's dental care.

We would love to meet you and your family! Please contact us to schedule your next preventive dental visit.

Dr. Klimcak & Team want to keep Birmingham smiling!

Preventive dentistry is our goal for every patient. To help you keep your teeth for a lifetime, good oral hygiene and regular professional cleanings can never be understated.

Regular visits to the dentist make good sense.

Even the most aggressive regimen of brushing and flossing cannot remove plaque and tartar below the gum line which can lead to periodontal (gum) disease.

We recommend that our patients visit our office every 3-6 months for routine cleanings and checkups.

  • At this visit, we will take necessary digital xrays, and Dr. Klimcak and our dental hygienist will perform a thorough dental examination to evaluate the condition of your teeth and jaw joints. Using digital imaging technology, they will review their findings with you on a computer screen.
  • Early detection of oral cancer provides the best chance of successful treatment. At each preventive visit, Dr. Klimcak will perform an oral cancer screening and discuss risk factors with you.
  • We may recommend dental sealants and fluoride treatments for your child to prevent dental decay.

Maintaining a regular schedule of preventive dental care will help keep your smile looking and feeling great. And, by addressing any problems early, preventive dentistry can help you avoid major dental procedures, saving you both time and money.

Our goal is to preserve your oral health by keeping your teeth and gums in a comfortable, disease-free state that is easy to clean and maintain.

When it is necessary to rebuild tooth structure or replace missing teeth, restorative dentistry techniques utilize the strength of precious metals such as gold and titanium along with the cosmetic properties and durability of porcelain ceramics to bring function and esthetics back to your smile.

Restoration of Dental Implants

The most exciting new development in dentistry is the use of dental implants to replace missing teeth. We can now reliably provide a beautiful and functional replacement tooth without involving other teeth (such as with a dental bridge, which requires drilling and preparation of surrounding teeth for support.)

Dental implants give denture wearers something to smile about.

Complete and partial dentures fit more securely with the addition of dental implants and also help these patients maintain their long-term ability to wear their dentures.

Dr. Klimcak works closely with her dental specialist colleagues to provide patients with dental implant solutions for replacement of missing teeth.

Other Restorative Services that we offer include:

  • Crowns & Bridges
  • Porcelain Inlays & Onlays
  • Complete & Partial Dentures
  • Smile Reconstruction
  • White Fillings & Cosmetic Bonding

If you are facing oral health challenges such as missing or broken-down teeth, you are not alone. Don't struggle with dental problems - together we can create a plan to save your teeth that fits your schedule and your budget. Contact us today to find out how!

Dental Implant Restoration

Do you have missing teeth or a loose, uncomfortable denture? Dental implants could be the solution you have been waiting for! Because of their ability to provide support without disturbing other teeth, these tiny prosthetics are often recommended for replacement of missing teeth and denture stabilization.

How Dental Implants work:

A small, surgical metal cylinder is placed in the area where the tooth is missing. Once the implant is firmly in place, it functions as a foundation for a dental restoration, such as a crown or bridge, or as an anchor to ‘lock’ in a denture.

Your Dental Team

Dr. Klimcak works closely with oral surgeons and periodontists that specialize in the placement of dental implants to plan your smile restoration. Following placement of the dental implant by the specialist, she will design and place a custom implant crown, bridge or denture to support your bite function and complement your smile.

If you are missing a tooth or wear dentures, you should consider dental implants.

Contact us today to schedule a personal consultation with Dr. Klimcak to find out if dental implants are right for you.

We strive to make every visit with us comfortable and stress-free. Dr. Klimcak is certified and trained to offer oral conscious sedation for patients who desire a more relaxing visit.

We also have Nitrous Oxide Sedation (laughing gas) available for a mildly relaxing effect during procedures.
